Why is structured walking so important 

Not only for the obvious reasons of exercise to maintain a healthy weight. The most important part about walking your dog is for their mental health. While walking, our dogs senses are over powered with goodness. When their muscles are working they release oxytocin, opioids, adrenaline and serotonin into the brain and blood stream. This means the physical act of walking is immensely enjoyable. However walking can be much more than that when done correctly. Doing learning exercises tailored to your dogs needs can benefit them tremendously. New sights, sounds, smells and lessons will build confidence, obedience and social skills. This extra private time with me will speed up your training process or help maintain good behaviours after our training is complete.

With strong structured walks you should see a positive difference in your dogs overall behaviour, happiness and health. 

Walking services are only available to those within 10 miles of Peterlee. 

All walking services include pick up, drop off, clean paw return and refill of fresh water and any meals required. 

Individual Walks

£20 per hour 

Leash pulling on walks, jumping up, barking, aggression, no recall, not socialised? This service means your dog will be walked alone and will receive the training needed to ensure they learn how to walk correctly.

This service requires training sessions with the owner to be booked with me either before or after walks are booked. This is to ensure the dog learns correctly and effectively.

Walk With Ivy

£15 per hour 

This service is where I walk your dog with mine, Ivy. She is a 4yr old Border Collie specifically trained to help other dogs focus, learn and socialise correctly. She is extremely good with timid, nervous and over playful dogs.

This service requires training sessions with the owner to be booked with me either before or after walks are booked. This is to ensure the dog learns correctly and effectively.

Group Walk

£12 per hour 

With this service your dog will be walked with up to 3 other group walked dogs. Perfect for social and young dogs. 

This service is only available for local clients within 10miles and for training clients only. Owner must be present for pick up and drop off.

Block Booking 

10 walks = 5% Discount 

20 walks = 10% Discount 

Block bookings are non-refundable but 100% flexible around the terms agreed. You choose how many you use per week. Walk locations change regularly to ensure your dog gets the maximum experience out on their educational walks.
